95% of the game's content is for level 20 players. Pretty much EVERYTHING prior to that, is just the tutorial. GW is not like other MMOs where max level is the goal. The game begins at level 20, not ends.
You have titles, the storyline, vanquishing, dungeons, getting max gear/armor, getting multiple weapon sets for PvP, Hard Mode (which allows you to replay the entire games content with high level enemies), PvP, farming, getting elite skills, designing new builds. And making alts so you can try a different style of play. Having 5 or more level 20 characters is commonplace in Guild Wars. |

Becoming level 20 is actually meant to be rather easy. That was part of the original design to reduce grind and ensure that level discrimination was removed from PvP.
Most experienced players are able to get to level 20 in around or under 24 hours of gameplay. Level 20 is where the real game begins. Play it, and see where it takes you. |

Unlock skills and try new fun builds, with friends if possible
Build "perfect" weapons, i.e. with what i consider to be the best mods. This means to obtain the base weapon usually from collectors in the Crystal Desert or Southern Shiverpeaks, and then buy/find mods and inscriptions. Buy fancy items like elite armor and weapons for my chars Roll new characters just for the fun of it Run new characters to some interesting outpost, maybe to do dungeons, elite missions, etc with that character, or to help out friends/guildies Organize dungeons, vanquishes, elite missions, HM missions etc with friends/guildies Help newbies doing the first quests/missions PvP with friends when possible - - - - Title grinding? |

You farm. You farm a lot and build a ectos empire. After that you just stand next to the storage in Kamadan, LA or even better, Ascalon with your leet gear and the rarest mini you have to draw the most attention from hackers and admiration from newbies (not to be confused with noobs) as possible. After a year or two of doing this and finally getting hacked, you come hear and ask us how you can recover the 4 or 5 stacks of ectos that the hacker took from you and ask us if you should replay the game again or move to Wow.
